Yes, Thanatos is the Son of Nyx, and the God of Gentle Death, while Hades is the God of the Dead. Thanatos would be the Grim Reaper of Greeks, and I am pretty sure he shows up in at least one of the Percy Jackson books. Thanatos is seen as the twin brother of Hypnos, God of Sleep. He is chthonic God, and the personification Death. He is mentioned in the story of Sisyphus, who was a king who chained Death, and was given the punishment of forever pushing a Boulder uphill. Sorry for ranting, I am hyper fixated on Thanatos and Hypnos.
