Cabin 28: Mellona Cabin
As a child of Mellona, the Roman goddess of bees and honey, you are industrious, community-minded, and possess a sweet but resilient nature. You thrive in groups, understanding that the strength of the community is greater than the individual. Like the bee, you are diligent and productive, often finding joy in creating things that benefit others.
Mellona Cabin
The scent of fresh honeycomb, vanilla, and wildflowers greets you before you even reach the door. Cabin Twenty-Eight hums—literally. A gentle vibration runs through the wooden walls, the sound of thousands of bees going about their ancient work. The insects nest in the upper rafters and tend the gardens outside, but they never sting the cabin's inhabitants. To them, the children of Mellona are part of the colony.

The Romans kept lists of their gods—the indigitamenta—to ensure that every prayer reached its proper recipient. Among those ancient names, Mellona held her place: the goddess who promotes the supply of honey, who keeps it sweet enough to use. As a Child of Mellona
Children of Mellona are known for their tireless work ethic and their ability to bring people together. You are likely the 'glue' of your friend group—supportive, organized, and fiercely protective of your 'hive'. While you are generally gentle and sweet-tempered, you have a hidden sharpness when your loved ones are threatened. You appreciate order and efficiency but also know how to savor the sweet moments in life. You might have a natural affinity for nature, gardening, or culinary arts, and you likely prefer cooperation over conflict.
Abilities
- Apiokinesis:
The ability to communicate with and control bees, wasps, and hornets. These insects will never sting a child of Mellona unless ordered to do so.
- Melikinesis:
The power to manipulate honey and beeswax. This can be used to create sticky traps, preserve objects, or even heal minor wounds with nectar.
- Hive Mind:
An innate ability to coordinate groups and work seamlessly in teams, enhancing the efficiency of those around them.
