The Artemis cabin is a silver building that glows at night, as if reflecting the moon's rays. During the day, it resembles a normal cabin, decorated with paintings and carvings of wild animals, primarily stags. It serves as an honorary cabin, and is used only when the Hunters of Artemis visit Camp Half-Blood.
Several notable Hunters have served Artemis throughout history. Zoë Nightshade was a long-time lieutenant, known for her courage and loyalty. Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus, joined the Hunters to avoid the Great Prophecy. Bianca di Angelo, daughter of Hades, also briefly joined the hunt.
Hunters are not invulnerable. They can be killed in battle, and their immortality is contingent upon upholding their vow of maidenhood. If a Hunter falls in love, she will lose her immortality.
