Cabin 16: Nemesis Cabin
As a child of Nemesis, the goddess of revenge, retribution, and balance, you possess a strong sense of justice and a deep understanding of the consequences of actions. You are likely to be determined, focused, and perhaps a bit vengeful. You believe in fairness and are driven to right wrongs, even if it means taking matters into your own hands.
Nemesis Cabin
This cabin exists because of sacrifice. Ethan Nakamura never had a place at Camp Half-Blood—his mother Nemesis was considered too minor to deserve a cabin, so he bunked in Hermes with all the other forgotten children. The bitterness of being unclaimed, unrecognized, drove him to join Kronos's army. He believed the Titans would give the minor gods the respect Olympus denied them. His mother asked for his eye in exchange for a promise: he would...

Nemesis is not merely revenge—she is consequence. Born from Nyx, the primordial Night, she exists to ensure that no deed goes unanswered, no arrogance unpunished, no imbalance uncorrected. The Greeks called her Adrasteia: 'she from whom there is no escape.' When mortals prospered beyond measure, when kings became tyrants, when beauty inspired cruelty, Nemesis arrived to restore equilibrium. Her name literally means 'distribution'—she gives what is due.
Her most famous intervention involved Narcissus, a youth so beautiful that he broke hearts without remorse. The nymph Echo loved him desperately, but he spurned her so completely that she faded away, leaving only her voice to haunt the mountains. Nemesis observed this cruelty and led Narcissus to a still pool where he saw his own...
Nemesis
As a Child of Nemesis
Children of Nemesis are known for their unwavering commitment to justice and balance. You are likely serious, intense, and perhaps a bit intimidating. You have a strong moral compass and a deep-seated need to see wrongs righted. You are not necessarily cruel or malicious, but you believe that actions have consequences, and you are willing to ensure those consequences are delivered. You are likely to be a skilled strategist, able to plan and execute complex schemes to achieve your goals. You are fiercely loyal to those you deem worthy, but ruthless to those who have earned your ire. You can be resentful and hold grudges for a long time. You are also very observant and perceptive.
Abilities
- Balance Manipulation (Minor):
You have a subtle influence over the forces of balance. This might manifest as a heightened sense of fairness, an ability to predict the consequences of actions, or a knack for finding the weak points in an opponent's strategy.
- Curses (Limited):
With intense focus and a strong justification, you might be able to place minor curses on those who have committed significant wrongs. These curses are not typically fatal or permanently debilitating, but they can cause misfortune, inconvenience, or a temporary reversal of fortune. The effectiveness of the curse is directly related to the severity of the transgression.
- Enhanced Combat Skills:
You have a natural aptitude for combat, particularly when fighting for a just cause. Your reflexes might be slightly enhanced, and you may have an instinctive understanding of your opponent's weaknesses.
- Retribution Sense:
You can often sense when someone has committed a wrong, even if it's not immediately obvious. You have a heightened awareness of injustice and imbalance.
- Truth Detection:
Because of your great sense of Justice, you can sense lies easier than other demigods.
